Common issues and solutions
Export Button Greyed Out (FREE Plan)
FREE Plan Limitation
FREE plan can only export the preview (first 5 minutes). Full export requires PRO or BUSINESS.
Upgrade to PRO
PRO plan unlocks full export in all formats (TXT, DOCX, SRT, VTT, JSON).
Downloaded File Won't Open
Check File Format
Ensure you have the right software: DOCX â Microsoft Word/Google Docs | SRT/VTT â Video editors | JSON â Text editor
Re-download File
Download may have been interrupted. Delete the file and export again.
Try Different Format
If DOCX fails, try TXT or JSON instead to access your transcription.
SRT/VTT Timing Out of Sync
Cause: Video Editing
If you edited the video after transcribing, timing will be off.
Solution: Re-transcribe Edited Video
Upload the final edited version to get accurate timing.
Manual Adjustment
Use subtitle editing tools like Subtitle Edit or Aegisub to manually adjust timing offsets.
Missing Speaker Labels in Export
Check Diarization Was Enabled
Speaker labels only appear if you enabled "Speaker Diarization" during upload (PRO+ feature).
Re-upload with Diarization
Upload the file again with Speaker Diarization enabled to get speaker labels.
Export Button Not Responding
Check Browser Popup Blocker
Some exports trigger downloads that may be blocked. Allow popups for this site.
Try Different Browser
Switch to Chrome, Firefox, or Safari if issue persists.
Refresh and Retry
Refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + R) and try exporting again.
