Common issues and solutions
The file may not have finished uploading. Check your internet connection and look for upload progress.
During peak hours, FREE plan transcriptions may wait in queue. PRO and BUSINESS plans have priority.
Refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + R) to check if status updated. Real-time updates work best in modern browsers.
If stuck for >5 minutes, click the transcription → Cancel → Upload again.
~1/10th of audio duration (e.g., 60-minute audio = ~6 minutes to process). Large files take longer.
If you enabled Speaker Diarization, add ~50% more time for AI to identify speakers.
Look at the progress bar. If it's moving (even slowly), processing is working normally.
Contact support with the transcription ID. There may be an issue with the processing worker.
Corrupted audio file, unsupported codec, file too long, or temporary server issue.
Click the failed transcription to see the specific error message, then search this page for that error.
Convert your file to MP3 format using a tool like FFmpeg or Audacity, then re-upload.
Click "Retry" on the failed transcription, or re-upload the file from scratch.
Contact support with the transcription ID and error message for investigation.
The original upload was not saved properly. Upload the audio file again.
Ensure stable internet connection during upload. Don't close browser until upload completes.
Real-time updates use Server-Sent Events (SSE). Firewalls or old browsers may block them.
Refresh the page periodically to check progress manually.
Press F12 → Console tab. Look for errors like "EventSource failed" or "Connection refused".
Some VPNs or corporate firewalls block SSE connections. Try disabling temporarily.
