Common issues and solutions
Transcriptions with thousands of segments (long audio) can slow down the browser.
Close unused browser tabs to free up memory.
Browser: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files
Modern browsers perform best. Update to latest version.
Ad blockers or privacy extensions can interfere. Try disabling them.
Bypass cache: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux)
Browser settings → Privacy → Clear all browsing data → Cookies and cached files
Open page in incognito/private mode to rule out extension conflicts.
Press F12 → Console tab. Look for red error messages and report them to support.
Some old browsers don't support certain audio codecs. Try downloading the file.
Browser may block autoplay. Click the player manually or allow autoplay in browser settings.
Ensure you're using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
Old styles are cached. Do a hard refresh: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows)
Browser zoom should be 100%. Press Cmd/Ctrl + 0 to reset zoom.
Some browsers have rendering bugs. Try Chrome or Firefox.
Wait for audio player to fully load before clicking timestamps.
JavaScript may not have loaded properly. Refresh the page.
App respects system dark mode. Change in OS settings: macOS → System Preferences → Appearance | Windows → Settings → Personalization
Refresh the page after toggling dark mode for changes to apply.
