Error: "File size exceeds plan limit"

ℹ️

Check File Size Limit

File size limits depend on your plan: Free — 50 MB, Plus — 2 GB, Premium — 5 GB. Larger files need to be compressed, split, or require a plan upgrade.

▶️

Solution 1: Compress Your Audio

Use tools like Audacity or online converters to reduce file size without losing quality. Convert to MP3 at 128kbps for optimal compression.

▶️

Solution 2: Split Large Files

Divide your recording into smaller segments and upload them separately. Each segment will be transcribed individually.

▶️

Solution 3: Use URL Upload for Large Files

For YouTube, Dropbox, or Google Drive files, use the URL upload feature which can handle larger files.

Error: "Storage limit exceeded"

ℹ️

Check Current Storage

Go to Account → Usage to see your current storage usage (Free: 150 MB | Plus: 100 GB | Premium: 1 TB)

▶️

Solution 1: Delete Old Transcriptions

Remove transcriptions you no longer need to free up space. Go to Files, select transcriptions, and click Delete.

▶️

Solution 2: Export and Archive

Export important transcriptions to your computer, then delete them from the platform to reclaim storage.

▶️

Solution 3: Upgrade Your Plan

The Plus plan provides 100 GB. The Premium plan provides 1 TB of storage.

Error: "Daily transcription limit reached"

ℹ️

Daily Limits by Plan

Free: 3 transcriptions/day | Plus: 20 transcriptions/day | Premium: No daily limit

▶️

Solution 1: Wait for Reset

Daily limits reset at midnight (00:00) in your timezone. Check Account → Usage to see your current count.

▶️

Solution 2: Upgrade to Plus

The Plus plan allows 20 transcriptions per day. The Premium plan has no daily limit.

Unsupported File Format

ℹ️

Supported Formats

Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG | Video: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WEBM

▶️

Convert Your File

Use a free converter like FFmpeg, Audacity, or online tools to convert your file to a supported format (MP3 recommended).

Upload Stuck or Frozen

Check Internet Connection

Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Large files require consistent connectivity.

▶️

Refresh and Retry

Cancel the upload, refresh the page (Cmd/Ctrl + R), and try uploading again.

▶️

Try a Different Browser

If the issue persists, try Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Clear browser cache if needed.

💡

Upload During Off-Peak Hours

Large uploads work better with stable connections. Try uploading during times with less network congestion.
