How to Set Content Type

  2. 2In "Configure Settings" select the Content Type that matches your audio
  3. 3Click "Start Transcription"

Which Content Type to Choose

  • Auto β€” Default. Works for most audio
  • Meeting β€” Meetings, interviews (2+ speakers)
  • Lecture β€” Podcasts, talks (1 speaker)
  • Call β€” Phone or VoIP recordings
  • Music β€” Songs, music videos, audio with background music
  • Noisy β€” Recordings with background noise

Pro Tip

Audio with music? Select Music profile. This dramatically improves accuracy when music is playing in the background.

Common Issues

  • Lyrics transcribed as random words β†’ Use Music profile
  • Background music causing errors β†’ Use Music profile
  • Noisy cafe recording β†’ Use Noisy profile
  • Phone call quality β†’ Use Call profile

Check "Remember my settings" to save your preference for future uploads.
