How to Set Content Type
- 1Upload your file
- 2In "Configure Settings" select the Content Type that matches your audio
- 3Click "Start Transcription"
Which Content Type to Choose
- **Auto** — Default. Works for most audio
- **Meeting** — Meetings, interviews (2+ speakers)
- **Lecture** — Podcasts, talks (1 speaker)
- **Call** — Phone or VoIP recordings
- **Music** — Songs, music videos, audio with background music
- **Noisy** — Recordings with background noise
Pro Tip
Audio with music? Select **Music** profile. This dramatically improves accuracy when music is playing in the background.
Common Issues
- **Lyrics transcribed as random words** → Use Music profile
- **Background music causing errors** → Use Music profile
- **Noisy cafe recording** → Use Noisy profile
- **Phone call quality** → Use Call profile
Check "Remember my settings" to save your preference for future uploads.
