How to Upload Audio & Video Files

TranscribeNext offers multiple ways to upload your audio and video files. Choose the method that works best for you.
Method 1: Drag & Drop
The fastest way to upload is by dragging your file directly onto the dashboard. Simply grab your file from your computer and drop it anywhere on the page.
Method 2: Upload Button
Click the "Upload" button in the top section of your dashboard, then browse your computer to select a file.
Method 3: Keyboard Shortcut
Press the U key on your keyboard to instantly open the upload dialog.

Supported File Formats
- Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, WebM
- Video: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, FLV, MPEG
- All video formats - audio will be automatically extracted
File Size Limits
- FREE Plan: Up to 50MB, 5 minutes max duration
- PRO Plan: Up to 2GB, 5 hours max duration
- BUSINESS Plan: Up to 5GB, 8 hours max duration
Upload Settings
When you upload a file, you'll see two modes:
- Smart Mode (Recommended) - AI automatically chooses best settings
- Custom Mode - Manually configure language, quality, and features
Important
Large files may take longer to upload. Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
