How to cancel, pause, or downgrade to the FREE plan.

Need a break or want to return to the FREE plan? You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time.

How to Cancel

  1. 1Go to Settings → Billing
  2. 2Click "Cancel Subscription" button
  3. 3Review what you'll lose when canceling
  4. 4Choose to pause (1, 3, or 6 months) or cancel permanently
  5. 5Confirm your choice
  6. 6Your subscription remains active until period end

Pause vs. Cancel

You have two options:

  • ⏸️ Pause (1, 3, or 6 months) - Billing stops, resume automatically later
  • ❌ Cancel permanently - Subscription ends, downgrade to FREE

What Happens When You Pause?

  • Billing is paused for selected duration
  • You keep your current plan until period ends
  • Subscription auto-resumes after pause period
  • No action needed to resume
  • You can manually resume earlier if needed

Pro Tip

Pausing is great for seasonal breaks or temporary budget constraints. Your plan resumes automatically when you're ready!

What Happens When You Cancel?

  • You keep access until current billing period ends
  • No charges after period end
  • Account downgrades to FREE plan
  • Transcriptions remain accessible
  • Export history is preserved
  • Storage may be limited to FREE plan quotas

Can I Re-subscribe Later?

Yes! You can upgrade again at any time:

  1. 1Return to Settings → Billing
  2. 2Click "Upgrade Now"
  3. 3Select your plan and billing cycle
  4. 4Complete checkout
  5. 5Instant access to paid features

Refund Policy

Canceling does not trigger automatic refunds:

  • You keep access for the period you paid for
  • No prorated refunds for cancellations
  • Contact support for exceptional cases

Important

Once you cancel, you lose access to PRO/BUSINESS features at the end of your billing period. Download any needed files before canceling!

How to Resume a Paused Subscription

  1. 1Go to Settings → Billing
  2. 2Click "Resume Subscription" button
  3. 3Billing resumes immediately
  4. 4Full access restored
